Volume Control Dampers are designed to regulate airflow within HVAC systems, offering options for on/off control,
manual adjustment with locking mechanisms, or fully modulating operation. These dampers provide an effective means of
balancing airflow throughout a facility, allowing precise control of air distribution to individual rooms or zones for enhanced
comfort and energy efficiency.
Configurations
Parallel blades are used to either isolate or direct airflow (ie. Turn on/off).
Opposed Blade is best for modulating, or vary the volume of, airflow.
Single Thickness or Teardrop-Style Blades
Rectangular or Round Construction
Onshore / Offshore Applications
Parallel Blade: Fan inlets, scrubbers/oxidizers, precipitators, gas turbine inlets and outlets, atmospheric exhaust, atmospheric supply, face and bypass damper applications.
Opposed Blade: Discharge fan outlets, tempering metal or glass, air filtration inlets, air pollution control isolation and fast power generation applications
